Union Public Service Commission invites online job applications from the eligible candidates for the post of Livestock Officer/ Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor/ Assistant Director Census Operations/ Assistant Engineer for 204 vacancies.

Educational Qualification

Livestock Officer:

Bachelor’s degree in the Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry as listed in the First Schedule and Second Schedule of the Indian Veterinary Council Act. 1984 (52 of 1984) from a recognized university or institution.
Experience: 03 years of experience

Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor:

A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956).
Experience: 03 years of experience

Specialist – Anaesthesiology/ Epidemiology/ General Surgery/ Microbiology or Bacteriology/ Nephrology/ Pathology/ Paediatric Nephrology/ Pharmacology

Assistant Director Census Operations (Technical):

Master’s Degree in Statistics or Operation Research or Mathematics (with Statistics) or Economics (with Statistics) or Commerce (with Statistics) or Anthropology (with Statistics) or Sociology (with Statistics) or Demography (with Statistics) of a recognized University

Experience: 03 years of experience

Assistant Engineer:

Bachelor’s Degree in Drilling or Mining or Mechanical or Civil or Electrical Engineering or Petroleum Technology from a recognized University

Experience: 01 years of experience

Upper Age Limit (01.10.2020)

Livestock Officer/ Assistant Director Census Operations/ Assistant Engineer: 35 years
Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor: 40 years

Pay Scale Details

Livestock Officer/ Assistant Director Census Operations: Level-10 in the pay matrix as per 7th CPC plus NPA
Assistant Engineer: Level-8 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC
Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor: Level-11 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC plus NPA

Selection Process

Selection is made only by interview or by Recruitment Test (RT) followed by Interview.
In cases where selection is made by Recruitment Test (RT) followed by an interview, the candidate will have to achieve a minimum level of suitability in their respective category at the interview stage.

Minimum Qualifying Marks for Interview out of 100 marks:

UR/EWS Category – 50 marks
OBC Category – 45 marks
SC/ST/PH Category – 40 marks

Mode of Payment
