Job description

  • Test of Web Applications developed for various form factors on different devices and platforms for Functional, Usability, Performance and Security aspects
  • Understand the Requirements (Business & Technical) for the Application
  • Work closely with the team to understand the specifics of the Application and due considerations with respect to Non
  • Functional Requirements like website performance, resource utilization etc
  • Review Design and provide feedback considering Testability of the Application/ Solution
  • Provide inputs to Test Lead/ Manager on Test Strategy and Test Planning
  • Perform Test Case design, develop Test Cases for automation as applicable
  • Execute Testing, log defects and support the team on defect resolution and retest

Desired Qualification and Experience:

  • BE/B.Tech in Electrical/Electronics and Communications
  • 2-5 years of Experience in Software Testing Manual and Automation

Job Profile

  • Passionate about QA and breaking software systems
  • Knowledge of Software Testing concepts and methodology
  • Experience is testing of Applications on cloud services
  • Understanding of Web fundamentals (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Server Side & Database)
  • Good programming skills in Javascript / Typescript /C#
  • Experience in testing and automation tests for Angular applications.
  • Should have experience in automation platforms like Selenium Web driver and Protractor
  • Knowledge of API Testing tools like Postman/Fiddler
  • Knowledge of Website Performance Monitoring using Chrome Dev Tools
  • Hands on experience with Test Management and Defect Management tools like Jira/Clearquest/TFS
  • Knowledge of Security testing is an added advantage.
  • Preferably having experience in Electrical and Energy Domain
  • Excellent analytical and problem Solving skills
  • Excellent team player and Good Communication Skills
